To preserve the chenille fabric, regular maintenance is sufficient. Vacuum it (low power, upholstery attachment) once a week, using long, gentle strokes in the direction of the pile. In case of a stain, dab immediately without rubbing with a clean, slightly damp cloth, working from the edges towards the center. For more stubborn stains, a mild solution of cold water and mild soap is usually sufficient. Avoid over-saturating the fabric and allow it to air dry. Once dry, gently brush the pile in its natural direction to restore its softness. The chrome-plated metal frame should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth to maintain its shine, avoiding abrasive products that could scratch the surface.
